The “explosion” of Formula 1’s popularity, mainly with the “unlocking” of the American market by the commercial rights holder (since 2017) Liberty Media, has skyrocketed the value of the sport’s teams.
According to the financial report of the newspaper Sportico, Ferrari remains the undisputed protagonist at the top of Formula 1. Its total value reached approximately 5.5 billion euros, an amount comparable to that of football giants such as Real Madrid – confirming its timeless dynamic.

In second place is Mercedes F1, which is valued at around 5.1 billion euros – a fact that the team’s shareholder and director Toto Wolff recently took advantage of to sell 5% of his stake to the company Crowdstrike.

McLaren F1 follows in third place at around €4.1 billion, while Red Bull, despite the titles it has won in recent years, is in fourth place with a value of around €3.6 billion. The top five is completed by Aston Martin F1, which is estimated at €2.6 billion.

At the other end of the ranking we find Haas, which is estimated at around €1.4 billion, remaining the least valuable team on the grid. The authors of the research note that the list has been cross-checked with multiple sources and that several teams have personally confirmed the figures.

Overall, the value of Formula 1 teams now exceeds 19.8 billion euros, with forecasts showing further growth as Audi and Cadillac prepare to join the championship in 2026.
