Mick Schumacher shared an emotional message this week, opening up about a personal loss that marked a difficult moment away from racing.

Former Formula 1 driver and F2 Champion Mick Schumacher took to Instagram this week to share a deeply emotional message with his followers.
The German driver, the son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher, has often kept his private life out of the spotlight. This week, however, he shared a heartfelt post that struck a chord with many fans

His message reflected love, loss, and gratitude for a companion who had been by his side through the highs and lows of his journey.

In the post, Schumacher revealed that his beloved dog, Angie, had passed away.
“Angie’s been the best dog I could have asked for. She was my shadow, always by my side,” he wrote.

“I was lucky enough to have 10 amazing years with her, but it still feels like she’s gone too soon. She travelled with me everywhere and gave me unconditional love. I’ll miss her forever – my Angie,” the 26-year-old added.
For Schumacher, Angie was far more than a pet. She had accompanied him through much of his professional life, from his early racing years to his time in Formula 1, and was a constant presence through every chapter.
The Alpine driver often referred to Angie as his “shadow,” showing how deeply she was part of his everyday life. Her passing, he shared, has left an irreplaceable void.
